I am so excited by Barack Obama's win that I've decided to start this blog. I can't contain my thoughts. I'm overjoyed. And I believe Obama will be great. He is already much better than B. Clinton in my eyes-- and I was excited about Clinton's election in 1993. This makes living in America with all the troubles we have and all the troubles we caused (via our government, corrupt corporations and the war in Iraq) palatable. Of course it doesn't absolve them. But it gives me hope.
On Boston.com today, I found some terrific front page photos and headlines detailing Obama's victory that appeared around the country.
